Our Online Hypnotherapy Certification Training is tailor-made for mental health professionals (Masters/PhD), psychologists, therapists, counselors, doctors, nurses (BSN/MSN), educators who feel called to use Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy and Age Regression Therapy. In this course you will be able to use Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy and Age Regression Therapy to effectively treat and heal your clients/patients.

What To Expect

Your journey begins with our Online Hypnotherapy Certification Training offered through a live online, interactive format via Zoom. The intensive course consists of didactic and experiential clinical training totaling 60 hours of live instruction and hands-on practice. You will actively participate in both Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy and Age Regression Therapy yourself, so you'll know precisely what your clients will experience, as you conduct actual sessions with other professionals in breakout rooms with a supervisor present. At the completion of the 6-day training you will be prepared to practice these modalities with your clients and have the tools needed to complete your practice sessions and earn two certifications: Hypnotherapy and Age Regression.

Course Description:
The Online Hypnotherapy Certification Training (Six-Day Course) is offered several times each year in an online, interactive format through Zoom. The class is six full days of didactic and experiential clinical training, totaling sixty hours of instruction and practice. Objectives of the course are to attain functional skills in clinical hypnotherapy that are practical and ready-to-use. Satisfactory completion results in award of certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

Course Format:
This is a live, interactive online course taught by an instructor via Zoom. Participants are required to attend the live online workshop, participate in group discussion, and complete the course evaluation before earning the certificate of attendance.

Continuing Education Course Requirements:

  • Attendees must be present for the duration of the 60-hr training. Full attendance is required to earn your CE credit.
  • Attendees must actively participate during the 60-hr training, including all six Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy practice sessions (conducted in Zoom breakout rooms). Video participation is required so that your instructor can assess engagement and progress during the course.
  • At the conclusion of the 60-hr training, you will complete a course evaluation in your Wellness Student Account. You are required to complete this evaluation to earn your CE credit.
  • CE certificates will be accessible in your Wellness Student Account once you have completed all of the requirements (attendance, evaluation).

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to define hypnosis and the signs of its presence, describe basic elements of its history, and list key ethical issues in the use of hypnosis.
  2. Participants will be able to recognize the superficial, medium and somnambulistic levels of hypnotic trance, and manage a trance state in a cooperative subject, using appropriate deepening techniques.
  3. Participants will be able to recognize the differences between memory/recall abilities of the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.
  4. Participants will be able to effectively use the power of suggestion, including the four types of suggestions, and eleven principles of suggestion formulation.
  5. Participants will be able to administer four suggestibility tests.
  6. Participants will be able to recognize the subject’s predominant senses for receiving suggestions and mental processing.
  7. Participants will be able to identify resistance in the subject and have at least two choices for effectively handling it.
  8. Participants will be able to administer at least three hypnosis inductions and an effective wake-up command.
  9. Participants will be able to effectively administer at least six hypnosis deepening techniques.
  10. Participants will be able to effectively formulate post-hypnotic suggestions and affirmations, using seven principles and twelve “Laws of the Mind.”
  11. Participants will be able to induce self-hypnosis, utilize the benefits through creating a positive program for self-hypnosis including post-hypnotic suggestions, and use the inner alarm clock to effect a wake-up.
  12. Participants will be able to effectively use hypnosis for pain control through the autogenic pain control technique (glove anesthesia), and for anesthesia.
  13. Participants will be able to incorporate the elements of a hypnosis interview, including client perception and emotional checklist, manifestations of stress, “personal laws or generalizations,” and family of origin patterns.
  14. Participants will be able to recognize the differences between, and differentially utilize the permissive, exploratory style of hypnotic treatment pioneered by Milton Erickson and the authoritarian approach of giving suggestions.
  15. Participants will be able to incorporate an induction, return to the most recent occurrence of the unwanted behavior, and identify the feeling that triggers the unwanted behavior.
  16. Participants will be able to facilitate the healing of the regressed-state inner child by creating a corrective experience, changing at a deep level the individual’s Locus of Control from external to internal.
  17. Participants will be able to facilitate intense abreactions and emotional release as an effective adjunct to working through trauma, utilizing safety measures for extreme abreaction.
  18. Participants will be able to use Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat addictions, including ending the addictive cycle, releasing core trauma, and extinguishing the urge for substances, behaviors, or relationships.
  19. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat anxiety, including extinguishing the primary anxiety using systematic desensitization, as opposed to a secondary anxiety.
  20. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat codependency, incorporating family of origin shame-based rules, the Codependency Inventory.
  21. Participants will be able to explain to clients the difference between expression or repression of feelings, and how expression can be healthy or unhealthy.
  22. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat psychosomatic or stress-related illness, recognizing how chronic negative thoughts turn into disease, and identifying any secondary gains of diseases.
  23. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat post-traumatic stress disorder & sexual abuse, incorporating Parts Therapy and working effectively with dissociation.
  24. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder, using the conference room and bulletin board techniques, and working toward co-consciousness and eventual integration.
  25. Participants will be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of DID (MPD), using the DES Putnam Scale.
  26. Participants will be able to effectively create and anchor a resource state, utilize reframing and parts therapy techniques.
  27. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat eating disorders, focusing on treating four behavioral components as well as releasing the source of addiction.
  28. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat birth trauma, accessing and correcting early abandonment or inadequacy issues.
  29. Participants will be able to use hypnosis to treat weight loss, smoking cessation, and stress reduction, discovering the emotional reasons for the behavior, extinguishing the behavior, utilizing the collapsing anchors technique.
  30. Participants will be able to facilitate Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to treat children, using age-appropriate inductions, deepening techniques, and regressions.

Jennifer Morris, LCSW: Jennifer Morris is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland. Working in private practice, Jennifer specializes in trauma resolution, EMDR, sex therapy, and hypnotherapy.

Francesca Richardson, PhD, LCSW: Francesca Richardson is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland. For over 30 years, she has worked as a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, EMDR practitioner, educator, and researcher.

Judi Vitale, M.A: Judi Vitale earned a Masters degree in Transpersonal Counseling from the Wellness Institute. She is a certified Transpersonal Coach, Certified Heart-Centered Breathwork Facilitator, and Advanced Clinical Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist.
